1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NakResit ("Service") at nakresit.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

NakResit is a web-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) application that provides invoice management, quick receipt generation, PDF creation, and related business tools for Malaysian businesses including SMEs, freelancers, and hawkers. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with a free tier available.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Subscription & Payments

• Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis via our designated payment gateway (FPX / credit card for Malaysian users; international card for overseas users). All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
• All subscription payments are final and non-refundable once processed. Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.
• Free plan features and limits are subject to change.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Malaysian law.
• Create fraudulent invoices or misrepresent your business.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or abuse the Service.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.

6. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you input into NakResit, including invoices, customer data, and business information. We do not claim any ownership over your content. You grant us a limited licence to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

NakResit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunity. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the Service. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, during which you may request an export.

10. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the NakResit platform, including design, code, trademarks, and branding, are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our express written permission.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Malaysia. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
